We are pleased once again to offer a terrific breakfast to our students for only $1.50. A good breakfast is a great way to start the day. Give it a try...The options are outstanding! Available in the cafeteria from 6:45-7:10 a.m. Click on the link above to access the menu.
A message from the Canton Bully Prevention Intervention Plan
How Full is Your Bucket?: Preventing bullying through kindness & respect.
The books How Full
is Your Bucket for Kids by Tom Rath & Mary Reckmeyer, Have You Filled a
Bucket Today (ages preK-9) and Growing up with a Bucket Full of Happiness:
Three Rules for a Happier Life (ages 9 & up) by Carol McCloud all use the
metaphor of a bucket being filled by the kind words and deeds we do for each
other. Using this metaphor we can teach
our children how their actions, words, and tone-of voice affect others. Talk to your children about the impact that
their words and actions can have on others, and be mindful of the powerful
message you send to your children through your own words and actions.
More information about the awareness and prevention of
bullying can be found on the Canton Public School’s district webpage.
