Girls' and Boys' Lacrosse Teams play today

The Boys' Lacrosse team finished 15-1.
Congratulations to all of the spring CHS sports teams and athletes for their work ethic, competitive drive and great sportsmanship. All of our student-athletes represented CHS very well -- on and off the field.

Now it is tournament time. The CHS Boys' and Girls' Lacrosse teams, the Baseball team and the Girls' Tennis team qualified for the MIAA tournament.

Girls' Lacrosse

Girls' Lacrosse finished the regular season with a 9-7-2 record, with a surge at the end to secure a tournament berth. One of the highlights of the regular season was Meg Lennon scoring her 200th goal! On Saturday night, the Bulldogs earned a thrilling 9-8 victory over Archbishop Williams in the first round of the playoffs. Now, they are ready for a battle with No.1 seed Hopkinton.

No. 17 Canton will play top-ranked Hopkinton today (5/28) at 4 p.m. at Hopkinton High School.

CHS Math Team heads to Penn State

The legacy lives on with phenomenal performances

The Canton High School Math Team has been a force for decades and this year's group has only added to the legacy of excellence. In the winter, the Bulldogs competed in several meets in the Massachusetts Mathematics League and placed third overall with 868 points. (Lexington and Acton-Boxborough finished first and second, respectively).

Just recently, the CHS Math Team won the state title for the middle division and then scored a second place finish at the New England Regionals, held at Canton High School.

Now, under the tutelage of advisor and long-time CHS Math teacher Marty Badoian, Canton students (11 total) will join 39 other students to form the Eastern Massachusetts team and compete at the American Regions Mathematics League, a national competition held at Penn State on May 31 and June 1.

The Canton High School Community commends the tremendous accomplishments of this talented and hardworking team. Kudos to advisors Marty Badoian, Jessica Duggan, Paul Dybdahl and Math Department Coordiantor Mike Curry.

Well done! We wish you the best!
