Term 1 Closes on Friday, Nov. 13
Believe it or not, Term 1 closes on Friday, Nov. 13. Our students have worked extremely hard for the first nine weeks of school. During recent announcements and throughout class lessons, we have emphasized the importance of one's work ethic, active learning and resiliency. We have
emphasized the importance of maximizing every moment of the school day.
The end of a school term always brings a focus on grades. We certainly encourage students to finish strong and achieve the highest grade possible. But we encourage the students to consider their level of learning and thinking, to consider their growth, and to consider their ownership of their own learning. Great grades and -- more importantly -- great learning will be achieved if students strive to be better in their areas.
As I told the students today, Term 2 provides a fresh opportunity to improve on Term 1. Continuous Improvement is one our Core Values!
