CityLab offers great scientific experience

What is that bus? What is CityLab?

These were legitimate questions considering CityLab's large white bus was parked in front of Canton High School for an entire week. Sponsored by the Boston University School of Medicine, CityLab is a mobile, state-of-the-art science laboratory that allows high school students to engage in experiments, problem-solving and critical thinking on their own campus.

Ultimately, the goal of CityLab is to promote the sciences and instill a passion for learning through inquiry.

Several CHS science classes took the "mini field trip" and embraced the opportunity to conduct experiments. Thank you to the organizers and sponsors of CityLab, and kudos to Department Head Erica Fitzgerald and the CHS science department for bringing CityLab to Canton.
