Boston Strong T-Shirts

Students and staff will be taking orders for T-shirts this week to support The ONE Fund. 

On May 23, Canton Public Schools will wear these T-Shirts as a show of unity and support for the victims of the Marathon bombings.

A Message from Superintendent Jeff Granatino:

I wanted to make you aware of a tremendous project that Canton High School has undertaken in light of the events at the Boston Marathon.  As soon as students and staff returned from April vacation, they brainstormed  ideas to not only recognize and remember the victims of this senseless tragedy, but they also wanted to find a way in which they could help support those in need.

What has come from this collaboration is the creation of a “Boston Strong” t-shirt.  These shirts are now on sale for $15.  All proceeds will go to the One Fund Boston, which was created by Mayor Menino and Governor Patrick.  There is an order form and samples of the front and back of the shirt attached to this email.  If you are interested in purchasing a shirt, please submit the order form and check to the main office at your child’s school.  These order forms, with checks, should be submitted by May 6^th.

The CHS team is hoping to have a district-wide recognition of this effort on Thursday, May 23^rd, when everyone who has purchased this shirt will wear it that day.  If you would like a shirt, please remember to fill out the form and get it back to the main office at your child’s school. (At CHS, the forms and checks will be collected in lunch.) All checks should be made out to the Town of Canton.

I know there are countless members of the Canton school community impacted by these events and we appreciate any support you can give.  The Canton Public Schools stand together with those supporting the victims of the Boston Marathon and again, all proceeds from the sale of these shirts will go to the One Fund Boston.
