A message from CAPE
Thank you for your support of the November 22, 2013 CAPE Spelling Bee.
The money raised by the Canton Alliance of Public Education (CAPE) is used to fund grants that are awarded to the Canton Public Schools. CAPE awards grants for programs that challenge students to achieve their true potential. CAPE grants are awarded to creative programs in such areas as literacy, science, technology, the arts and student enrichment. Grants may also be awarded for curriculum materials and professional development that are not funded in the operational town budget. The grants provide a unique opportunity for teachers to try interesting and challenging programs that are not a part of the existing curriculum. CAPE has awarded 100 grants totaling $210,701 since 2004 (including $19,366 in 2013).
The ticket costs are $5.00 per adult, $3 for children and seniors.
Cash and checks will be accepted at the door for tickets to the Spelling Bee but can be pre-purchased with a credit card here.
